We are the riggers. Yes, we supplied the rigging.

I can't imagine it would take that long to secure rigging. I hope he's getting detention pay.

We once unloaded a printing press in Orlando, FL. The press required a special lifting device to pick it. It was supposed to be shipped with the press but somebody forgot it. A guy drove all night from Nashville, TN to bring a replacement. Of course it was costing them about $400 per hr for us to sit, not counting what the truck was charging. I think the driver was local so he dropped the trailer and went home.

Yea he's getting paid. The boss is not happy with the rigging company, they are the ones who contacted them for the 2 19 axle units. My buddy lost out on 2 lds now because of their screw ups. They lded the machines at the outgoing plant and are to do the setup at this plant

Got a trailer build date today of May 22. They say it will take two days to assemble, then I guess they will be on their way.

They are going from Nashville, TN to Laredo, TX. I have no idea how they are routed but you may see it somewhere on the way. I know almost always with dual lane setups, TN won't route them on I40 west. They usually go down hwy 70.

I'll be sure to get plenty of pics of it heading out.

The actual people involved was one superintendent, 2 crane operators, 2 truck drivers, one forklift operator, and 4 riggers.

It more or less goes together like a giant erector set. They pulled both dolly sets to the job. All of the bridge was on one flat and another flat had all the misc small pieces.

Well they were from Wisconsin and talked a little funny. Lol
They are a good group of guys though.

I forgot to mention the hired escort in the men list above. He worked right along with everybody else, helping where he could.

Hired escort, sure it wasn't one of their own.. they used to have those Sprinter vans setup, or it might be one of the outside pilots who kinda works for them full time. Yea people from Mn and Wi do talk funny, don't cha know....
