But, it does not good if someone quotes them.

 

I don't know if this would work but something needs to be done about all the CDL schools and training carriers exploiting wannabes . These people can't afford to pay out thousands of dollars to end up worse off than when they started . There are more and more posts by new drivers that can't find work or got a job and are getting less than 1,000 miles a week . These posts would be very helpful in exposing training frauds . I'd like to suggest a forum where members posting would give automatic consent and staff would allow the posts to be used in letters to media and lawmakers . Hey , the publicity could lead to membership growth .

 

But one problem I can see may be the risk of slander and some malcontent who couldn't do things right just slamming for the sake of revenge. It doesn't sound like a bad idea to me but there could be legal problems and there would be a serious need to do background checks, and that would cost.

 

Heres a suggestion, it would be nice if when someone replied to one of your posts they recieved a message telling them so. Or if you replied to a specific comment it went under that comment so everyone knew who you were speaking to because some of these forums are pages long. Just a suggestion, but in my opinion this site is a life saver to a newbie like myself

 

We do have a quote feature already

Also you can go to your User CP and change your settings and options and such

You have the ability to receive email notification when a thread that you are subscribed to gets a response

 

Goodmorning, wondering why there 's no forum on just log books, i can see the story's now, but on the other hand i think it be a great learning tool for newbees, just a thought, Everett

 

We have about 40 threads with discussions about log books, some quite extensive
On the site tool bar third from the right is our search feature
Click on advanced search
Type in Log book(s), click search title only, then enter
