Trucking Jobs in 30 seconds
Every month 400 people find a job with the help of TruckersReport.

DOT physical is based on your individual company's requirements. If you were going to work for U.S. Foods for example, your physical would entail lifting a certain size and weight box or crate over your head a certain number of times etc, but as the most physical thing we do is crank the landing gear, ours is 'standard'...eye chart, color blind test, peripheral vision check, whisper test, sugar test (pee on cup as well as drug test for your initial pre-hire physical)...nothing to worry about.

You'll need to do 60 push-ups before you can even turn the key to the tractor to prove you're physically fit for the job. Hope you're ready. The 100 sit-ups almost killed me.Barrett Thanks this.

When the safety director informed me that I would have to run 2 miles with a box of weights. I ask would there be any oxygen, and an IV at the finish line.
Barrett and BackIsSore Thank this. -

Remember that part where we had to recite hazmat number classes of different products? Boy that was tough!

Thanks guys. Crete makes their OTR drivers do all kinds of physical activity tests before getting hired, even though their freight is no touch.
