I never had any intention of staying there longer than necessary. Just to get my experience and nothing more.

And I'm anything but a quitter. I am college educated, served in the Army working on Apache helicopters, have climbed many of Colorado's 14,000 foot mountains and 13,000 foot mountains.

I've been at FedEx Ground for nearly two years now hauling doubles to Wyoming and back. A lot of the driver oppression and micromanagement I experienced at Werner is now taking place at FXG, but I have a good contractor that makes it tolerable and at $1350 a week, set schedule, Sun/Mon off, sleep in my bed every night, and a dedicated solo route, I'll deal with it.

Not happy with the driver facing camera but I'm not gonna find a better gig around here.

I only got $420 a week while in training. :/

do your year and get the hell out if you can last that long.
