Company transferring to Elogs, does this affect my hours?

    Company is gonna be changing to elogs pretty soon here. What should I expect from it? Will this affect my hours? Trainer wants to know too!!

    It doesn't change the HOS one bit all it does is make you log legal.

    You can log legal on paper too, but you know what they say about padlocks........

    If you are with a Trainer, you will both need a Log in/Pw as you will have to run on the ELD under your ID...

    Only real difference is if you log paper you have to split the time example if you go over 7 1/2 mins then you are supposed to log up to the quarter hours. Elogs logs every minute and dont round it up.
