Hopper bottom driver needed! St. Louis,mo

    Cordray transport.
    Owner operator in search of a driver near southeast Missouri/southwest Illinois. Driver works Monday through Saturday afternoon. Absolutely no Sundays! Steady freight every week. .42 cents a mile for all miles. Averaging 2600-3300 miles per week. Mostly haul limestone to feed mills and steel mills. Rarely haul grain. Run Missouri Arkansas Kentucky Alabama and Tennessee. Truck is a 2010 kenworth t-800 and trailers are newer Wilson hoppers. Truck located in perryville Missouri. This is a 1099 position. Pay is weekly after 2 week hold. Looking for self motivated, reliable non job hopper driver.

    Wait a second....if you pay your "driver" as a contractor, how can you dictate their schedule? Asking for a friend lol

    Well boys it's real simple, if your not interested then there's no need to reply. Simply put, my truck, my company so I dictate the schedule. Also yes, there is a two week hold. There is a reason for that. Been running a successful business with my model for a few years now. It works for us. I run a 2 truck operation, one of which I drive 6 days a week. We have the freight. Why not take advantage of it? I never seem to have a driver complain about his check at the end of the week.

    I concur, O/O hopper myself and this is a good deal for someone. My settlements are held that long, and the reason you decide schedule is due to how the places we do business operate.

    Sweet enough I would sign my truck on and pay the standard precent. Make that run from Kanass to Missouri frequently, then back around.
