Wording on the bottom of the certificate says "customer must retain copy of work R.O. with NOW certificate. REpair order shall govern any discrepancies between certificate adn repair order" With that being said the shop manually puts an X by those items that are covered under the warranty and injectors is checked.

Please, if you have never changed these sensors then do so right away: or dont

Intake manifold air pressure ssnsor est $50
Delta-p differential pressure sensor est $100/$150
Exhaust back pressure sensor est $100

I dont care how many new parts you got in that ISX, if these sensors arent reading right or is carbon packed- your whole erg system and timing will be jacked up

You got the egr valve and the cleaned filter, that will get you by for a while: but these sensors are key for that valve to even up and close right:

And your warranty probably would have covered the injectors... if they had replaced them!!! They're not going to warranty injectors if u didnt buy injectors from them

Unless u can find some type of loophole, then that a be good for you

Yes, but they did not discuss injectors, check injectors, test injectors or anything. That is extremely negligent when someone is spending that much money for an overhaul with the sole purpose of getting the truck in great shape so we do not have engine issues for at least two years! I understand other parts can not function properly in those two years but not the engine parts. I did not care if the cost was 30k or 35K....the purpose was to give me no major problems for two years. ugh.

I was nieve at once but I had to learn quick: we work to hard for this money, risk a lot, just to get swindled by crooks. Good luck in finding people who actually value your money and business and do a quality job. Treat them well and appreciate them when you do

But it doesnt hurt to learn your motor and truck, over and over again, even if you never plan on turning a wrench: this way you can at least point a foreign shops in the right direction instead of having them tell you, what you need.

There is also a differential pressure sensor on the dpf filter itself, about $150, I would get that changed for new after the sensors above: those 4 sensors work in tandem to maintain the egr system

The cost of the education is getting extremely expensive. lol And I thought it was not really going to be a foreign shop but the maker of the engine. I thought i was taking it to the best of the best. Oh how I was wrong! A billion dollar corporation that is the manufacturer cares less, charges more, and has less business savvy/proper information than the smaller shops I have dealt with. It is sad.

I hear you, but it's kind of like ordering take out... see, you order the food because you want to eat and be satisfied for a good while...

So when you pick up your food, you may not inspect the bag for napkins because thats common sense right, food is a little messy and for $12 it should come with at least food, silverware and napkins right...

So you drive away in good faith, start eating while driving and now your hands have sauce on them: lol: right, you dont want to wipe them on your clean clothes or clean interior/ so you reach into that $12 bag looking for those napkins and THEIR NOT THERE !!!! Huh? For $12 I get no napkins???.. now your frustrated and disappointed...

But is it really THEIR fault that you have no napkins? Some would say yes- and these are the victim personalities/ but the deal is- you never asked for napkins...

So yes they could of been more professional, but in order to make sure' for sure you had those napkins, you would have inspected the bag real good or asked in detail.

This is my analogy for your situation. Yes they should have asked if you wanted the napkins (injectors)... but they didnt, and you took for granted that they did, now you got sauce on you with no napkin... somethings gotta get dirty now

Moral of the story: check for the napkins, or in our case inspect that work order like a lawyer: if your spending 20 thousand then ask 20 thousand questions (so to speak), make sure its all there
