Do anyone know a particular adapter that convert a Big Tex 40 ft. Trailer from a goose neck ball to a fifth wheel? I think I can just remove the goose neck tube and insert a tube with the 5th wheel connection. I AM LOOKING FOR THE BRAND. So if anyone knows the brand, let me know.

I think this is what you need or just call up Big Tex and get one from them. https://www.etrailer.com/Gooseneck-and-Fifth-Wheel-Adapters/Bulldog/BD0289650300.html

Just converted my 24 ft GN to kingpin. Coupla points of interest.....conversion will raise front of trailer 5" to 10". Also, if hitch-point heighth is crucial, most conversion tubes have gussets welded at plate and insert tube which increases neck hi. Curt offers one w/o gussets that I bought. Puts kingpin only abt 3/4" below down tube rather than 3 to 4" w/gussets. Mine conversion plate is 30K GW capacity I think. About $175 incl frt.
A great improvement over ball hookup.

Almost any trailer dealer will have the part you're looking for.

And if the one you get is to long, won't let you get the trailer level, you can simply trim the top of the tube and slide it up into the trailer Receiver tube more.

On some trailers we've even had to trim the trailer Receiver tube to get the desired height.
