The midland-odessa, and Houston area, and different companies. Gemini has been hiring heavy lately

Not if you know where to look.
    Most jobs pay less though.

The reason I'm asking for $2000/week is because that's is what is being offered by the owner operators in ND pulling 89 miles for $500 all day. BMCBulk offered me $1500-$2400 a week. I don't understand how people could accept anything below $1700 a week pulling frac sand which pays TOP DOLLAR. It's almost like pulling reefer freight for $1/mile with your on authority. Makes no sense. I understand the "Larger" companies are paying low and taking most of the money. I'm not looking to work for them. The only reason I haven't taken a $2000/week job in ND is because my plane tickets from ND to TN was $700 both ways $1400 in all. So with 21on 7off it would cost me $1400+bills to visit family. If I worked in Texas, OK, or Ohio I could rent a car for like $200 for the entire week. Then I can't survive ND weather once Oct. hits.

I don't want hourly pay either. I need to be paid per load. Hopefully, I can find a company running 100 mile radius so I can run 15+hrs a day. I'm a trucker

I work in Midland, the company is Purity Oilfield Services. If you contact me, I can talk to the boss & maybe get you a higher pay rate. They start at $17-$19 per hour, lots of overtime. (tho the holidays was down). I got a guy in here to start out at $22 per hour. We've seen some good checks over (2wks) $3k TAKE HOME after all was taken out. The timing is volatile, no guarantees right now, but the buzz is, that all the companies are "ramping up" in anticipation for upcoming boom again. Lots are hiring here in Midland/Odessa , just a matter of getting what you want, expect or what the market will bare.
Also, fyi, FRACKING & FRACK SAND is said to pay the best here... I work with VAC trucks & winch trucks, we do a lot of work. Just a few thoughts from someone who's here strictly for the $$$.

If they really were paying that i don't think they would be needing drivers. There are a few places like Keane and sand box that pay $1000 a week minimum. If you don't trust them just go and talk to a few of their drivers.
