I am in a Brand-new 2018 Cascadia with the Detroit D12 automated transmission. I've read in the manual and watched a video on how to switch between manual, economy automatic, or performance automatic. The truck I'm in will not switch out of economy and into performance. Directions are pretty simple, hold in to switch to manual, or tap quickly to switch from economy to performance... & nothing happens when I tap it. This thing is stuck in economy and it won't get out of it's own way empty! Only thing I can think of is it's a Penske rental and they deactivated the performance mode, but even the mechanics at Penske don't have a clue.
    Any help is greatly appreciated!
    Thanks!!!

I don't personally know anything about them , but I recall someone posting they had a co. truck that was programed no to allow the other modes.

Enable Performance Mode must be enabled in CPC3Evo parameter group 29 or CPC4 parameter group 47 depending on which CPC model you have.

That's your first hint you gave right there: Penske.

Your fleet ordered this truck with fuel economy in mind. Of course they [Penske] don't want it on for drivers. Therefore, you will most likely not have the performance mode available as per Penske optimizing fuel economy by not giving drivers the option to go into performance mode for saving fuel at all costs (regardless if you're bobtail or empty).

NOTE@19seconds: Econ mode is for saving fuel
