My former company reported NON preventable incidents for a total of 3 on my DAC. What were they for?
1. I picked up a damaged trailer at a drop lot and called in so I wouldn't get blamed for damage when the next guy picked it up.
2. Same as above
3. A trailer tire blowout damaged the mudflap which required repair. I of course had to report the damage.
Why are these being put on my DAC? They showed up on dac as nonreportable incidents, and my company claims I can call if I have any problems with employers, but really, I don't believe they should be there at all. That was all equipment damage which I either wasn't responsible for or wasn't even around when it occurred.
So much for doing the right thing..
jacked up DAC!!!!

I have seen some of your post across the boards and you seem pretty intelligent, I think if you give it the ole 1, 2 you could be one of the ones who makes itFaber Thanks this.

I dont think the larger carriers care about doing the right now or at anytime in the near future

Now that is a bunch of caca.....I would definatly being trying to use a DAC fighting service to get that stuff off there.....at least mine is an event, which caused damage, caused by me- making it a dibatable situation (debatble if DAC changes the name of the event reported). ####....I thought to myself when all this started, "It's easy to see why drivers hate DAC." .....No, know I really see why some drivers hate DAC!

Appreciate that....good vote of positivity....

watch out for USIS, they make mistakes on yer DAC then refuse to fix them, i had to actually get a court order to have mine fixed. they claimed i had an alias and lived in another state, neither one of wich was true.
Faber Thanks this. -
It is amazing these people are even allowed to stay in business but guess thats what happens when things go unchecked and no one cares. Seems like no matter how many court cases or lawsuits they get USIS/DAC will never change till something more drastic happens to them.Faber Thanks this.

Excellent information on this thread about DAC or should we say USIS! Concerning getting a report from them I am sure that you guys realize you can download a pdf file off their website to fill out and then mail to them requesting any and all information they have in their files about you right? I have recently done this because of some turn downs on employment (some x wife past issues. some of you may have "been there n dun that")!
Anyway great information and feedback about the sorry a.. USIS website
Faber Thanks this. -
Yeah I agree with you there guy! Great post, they are getting a little ridiculous and out of control when all you are trying to do is an honest days work! Maybe we should have a website for USIS employees when they backed over something drunk while coming home from their party! LOL
Faber Thanks this.
