Depends upon what you're loading and unloading. If it's coming off the trailer faster than the suspension can dump air from the bags through the leveling valve (i.e. a 50,000# coil), I dump. If it's a bunch of 2000# pallets where the weight reduction is gradual, I'll leave them aired up. On an end dump, absolutely dump the suspension before you raise the bed. For a van where they'll be running a forklift in and out, you might be better off dumping the suspension (especially if you shut off the truck) to keep your air from being depleted so that when they are done, you don't have to sit there waiting for the truck to build pressure again. If you've got gauges on your suspension, you probably want to keep it aired up as you load so you know when to tell them you have enough. Etc., etc., etc...
Too many variables for a simple yes/no response.getnitdone Thanks this. -
Dump them... less chance on blowing one

I guess the reason I'm inquiring is because I'm wondering if there is a chance of them wearing out to the point of replacement from leaving them inflated or dumped while getting loaded or unloaded. Wasn't sure if the violent movement during either had an affect on their wear. Thanks for the input.
