I stared school 8 weeks ago with Pam.. Graduated in 5 weeks, spent 3 weeks waiting for my mentor and have been on the road for 4 days... In that 8 weeks I have received 350.00. 70.00 went for a bus back home after I graduated 50.00 to get my CDL license and 150.00 was an advance I have to pay back.
I am seriously thinking about going to Swift tomorrow. -
Can almost be assured that if you leave Pam, they will charge you a significant amount towards your school

$6000 for school? Holy smokes! There was a lot better options out there. Depending on where you live I know a company that is hiring right out of school in some areas and pays $850 guaranteed a week and home everyday.
If you are solo now I would be "nicely" leaning on your driver manager and the planners to get you rolling making money. Switching might toss you out of the pan and into the fire.GypsyMamma Thanks this. -
I wish I had a magic 8 ball to shake... Do i stay with Pam or go someplace else??

HAVE A TALK TO YOUR DRIVER MANAGER AND TELL THEM YOU NEED TO MAKE MONEY!!! IF IT DOESN'T WORK LEAVE! I stayed at Swift for 15mo. I always made decent money. Not the greatest but I didn't starve. I knew some that didn't make squat yet wouldn't complain. If your DM can't help you move up the chain and talk to the next person. Fleet manager? I have no idea what they call them at PAM.
Like I said if I knew where you lived? $850 a week is there for new hires and home everyday. This is in Princeton , IN, Nashville TN, and other areas.
