Being based out of baton Rouge you would at least see home more often than I did when I was in truckload, now averitt for me has worked especially since you can move division's. Then again it meets my criteria

I'd love TL. I have experience in ltl. But yea I couldn't do 800 gross. I make too much more than that now. I'll wait for flex. It's suppose to be 1200 or so a wewk

You can always try on tour logistics sleeper shuttles or line haul. I know for sure there's an account out Texas handy hardware where most drivers get paid pretty good money and they get to see home more often.

Shuttle is teams right? Yea I'd so line haul or shuttle. I'm 2 hours from Texas line though. What part of Texas is that run in?

Shuttle it could be both solo or team but those are hard to come by, the run is out of houston the drivers I have spoken to seem pretty happy especially since they get paid for unloading plus miles but really when they go unload is usually one or two pallets. I also know of another account here in Houston delivering salt for the pool folks I forgot their name but is paid by the mile which I think is 450 miles a day and they give you about 5 or 6 stores a day and you can be home a decent time pulling a 48ft with a electric jack and a lift gate.

I'm 230 miles from Houston. They wouldn't hire me. I'm in touch with a recruiter. Watching for a flex in louisiana.
