True very close in a semi but maybe he meant to say 2 or 3 trailer lengths behind.

Car lengths. I was just a few seconds from being even with his trailer AS I WAS PASSING HIM (Me in the right lane, him being stupid holding up traffic in the center lane). Had the strap held until then (just a few more seconds) all his crap would have dumped right into and under my rig.

I had to reread the post he was in the right lane a couple car lengths behind the scrap metal guy who was in the center lane perfectly fine and legal. But none the less as I read the thread its the other guys fault but like I said he didn't stop so the op will have to pay but half the damage is nothing since its only a tire.

    Rusty Trawler Thanks this.
