    It's true that a lot of places don't allow trucks, and that you don't get many opportunities to take in the sites. However, it's not impossible. It just depends on the individual behind the wheel and their personal responsibilities. I've known several guys who have taken cabs when available to go check out sites. I've done this myself on a few occasions, like the time I stopped in Vegas for the first time ever in my life and opted to take a 34 hr. reset there.

    We went to Laughlin, NV for Easter this yr in the truck my hubby asked his DM if he could take his 34 there since it was only 8 miles out of route
