100 bucks for junk
The 2.1 fridge at Walmart is 59 bucks
It'll run fine on a 1300 inverter

The best way to make a coleman cooler last is to remove the restrictive cover over the outside heat sink, giving it much better heat dissipation potential. I have gone though 3 colemans in 9 years and on the forth one I decided to enhance and improve it myself. The peltier cooler that comes with the coleman is rated at 6 amps at 12 V. Easier way, buy cooler, when it burns out, buy another...clean up old broken one and put it back in box, return it for refund.

Hey Mostangjay, It seems like a lot of work and extra cost just to beef up a Coleman that will not do the job. I think it would be easier to just replace them every couple years and more cost effective. That is just my 2 cents worth.
