I would never have known. I was wondering why Lowes, Home Depot, Mobil One, M&M's, STP, Loves and all those companies with a lot of money are in NASCAR. Hmmmmm I think you kind of missed the point of the post.

My point was that he's getting his money from somewhere......the drivers. I understand people with money can spend it wherever they want too. I probably shouldn't have commented about it, I'm not in his books and have know idea what he does with his money, it's really none of my business. It was just always frustrating to me to come back to their yard and see his car haulers, shop, pictures around the office, hear them talking about racing, and then get treated like a second class citizen by office people and then feel like.......wait a minute, where are you getting the income to support all of this? From the drivers. I was just a part time driver for them anyway so it shouldn't really have mattered to me.

I will say this though. They will run your tail off if your willing and you don't touch anything, drop and hook, east coast to west coast, north to south. It's been a while since I drove for them. I just wasn't treated by some of Randy's family in the office very nicely and it was just kind of out of the blue stuff, and I didn't appreciate it. I didn't have any problems with the dispatchers though. What I know about them now is what I read on the computer and we all know that isn't the best source of information, 3 sides to every story, your side, their side and the truth.

What happened

 

There equipment and runs are good most of the time. But i got burned out on things with them and being out for a month at a time.

 

I'm sad to report. That this is not a good company to lease to. I had high hopes and a great attitude to boot. Yes there is freight just not on the weekends unless you already have something. They have taken away fuel discount so best to have your own fuel card if you do join their lease. If you lease on and decide to leave before the end of the lease as it is a walk away lease. It is best to not tell them with any notice. Just take the truck home like usual and let them come get the truck when they get ready. Because if you do the right thing and take the truck to the yard. They will hold on to your checks and still charge you for recovery. So $500 on top of $1000 cleaning fee plus administrative fees. You will not see your last 2-3 weeks of pay.
