When you are sick, you should only worry about how to get to the emergency room ASAP. So no pushing at all in the beginning, middle or end of an assignment. You should be at the nearest hospital being taken care of and not behind the wheel trying to impress a selfish and ignorant driver manager.
Need some advice

Your trainer should be award Village Idiot award for not getting his tooth treated. Beyond comprehension why people avoid treatment for something that could quickly become a life threatening ailment.

I guess you didn't realize that
England stands for Every New Guy Leaves After Ninety Days
They only hire good honest people

It's been a couple days and Im incadesant with anger against the stupid driver manager hurting these two people. Who does he get off on doing that kind of CRAP!?>
//explosive rant.... -
That changes when the driver IS the driver manager and also customer relations agent and also the payroll man and the safety man and and and and and....x1Heavy Thanks this.

That makes TWO things in this thread that need to be "cured", and abscessed tooth, AND C.R. England.

Abscesses in your jaws can have potentially deadly consequences.PhilKenSebben and x1Heavy Thank this. -
And In this case, if he/she still feels the need to work, it is preferable that he/she performs the payroll or customer relations tasks and leave the driving to someone else who can safely , legally and professionally operate an 18 wheeler. Never ever ever drive when fatigued or sick. And If you have to drive even when sick and fatigued in order to make a profit, it is time to rethink your business model.Last edited: Jun 11, 2017

Are you saying it isn't possible to be all of the above?
I am not saying drive sick. I am saying in the event you get sick under load you should do your best to deliver the load, if you have to be a bit late that should be ok with your customer if they understand you are sick and having a difficult time. Once empty don't go picking up the next one until you are well again.
I don't have the power to repower a load unless my truck won't go anymore and the produce will rot resulting in an unnecessary insurance claim or I am deathly ill.
Lucky for me I don't get sick too often.x1Heavy Thanks this. -
Of course you can be all of the above if you want. But it would be better for all of us out there trying to make a living if you could delegate the driving task to someone else when sick or fatigued. Your health and the safety of the public are more important than a load of produce.x1Heavy Thanks this.

You have quite the large carrier company driver mentality.
The grey area here is how sick is too sick to drive?
When you are calling all your own shots and are being handsomely rewarded through your efforts and associated financial risk that comes with going it alone you tend to see things a bit differently. You don't come off as someone that will ever experience that, I hope you can at least respect my thinking.
