F/X company driver

Can't comment on the brokerage side, and don't really care as long as my checks get to me, and sorry if I'm cashing your drinking money. As far as the trucks go, mine is set at 68 but another driver I spoke to said his was set at 70, so no concrete answer there. I have a '16 cascadia, that came with a fridge, Apu, and factory inverter. The Freightliner has the dd15, so it has the optimized idle, which with the Apu, it may start up once during a 10 hr break, depending on the Apu settings, but not having to get up and start the truck on a low voltage alarm is super nice, it does it on it's own. Pay is $.46 a mile mt and loaded, and exchange could start with an X, Xchange, get it? 1 day accumulated for 7 days out, but I have 2 bought and paid for trips that I let them know about up front, and they are willing to work with me on them. I'll keep you posted on how the getting home for hometime works out. Hopefully, just like everything else so far.

 

Still going strong. And, they got me a load going through the house over the Memorial Day wknd, without me even requesting it. Not to shabby in my opinion. Loads are long and so far, I've been able to unload when I arrive, rather than waiting for the actual unload day, which I have been a day early on most of them. I usually don't like doing restarts away from home, but if I turn over 3000 miles in 6 days, I'll shut her down for a day and 10 hrs to reset, do laundry, and have a fresh clock to start again. I won't complain about that a bit.
