I do not know specific to your truck, however just about all A/C works off the same principle. There is a door or duct in the dash either stuck open, closed or broken preventing air flowing to the vents.
Hammer166 Thanks this. -
That's what I been reading but I can't find that door ?
-
I never had issues with mine, but the right lower kick panel is just push pins, and pulling the switch panel will let you see the top of the blend unit. I can't remember if the doors are air or electric on that.

Any competent A/C shop should be able to get you squared away. Probably could use a charge anyway. Large truck A/C is a pain from a maintenance standpoint, just from all the vibration it takes.

You either have an air leak or a cable problem within the A/C-heater unit. Most likely an air leak. This could be a defective vent selector unit.

Likely heater/ac control unit is faulty. Units are replaceable. I have run into same issue with autos and always got scrapyard unit to replace. Good luck with that.

I have a 2016 Western Star Glider, I have 58k miles on it and I’ve went through 5 AC compressors anyone else heard of this with Western Stars?
-
What's going bad? The bearing/clutch pack or the compressor section?
The bearing, I'd look at belt tension issues. If the clutch keeps burning up you have a wiring issue.
If it's the compressor, you need to make sure you're flushing the system clean of debris. That includes replacing the dryer/filter/expansion valve.
