You do your arrival and loaded call when pu your trailer. You will get a fuel route with your preplan. But I would imagine that you will mostly fuel at the D.C. before you leave.
Honestly, you need to be talking to the dispatcher at the D.C. They know you're new and will help you with your questions.Dreadheadtrucker Thanks this. -
Yeah talk to the office personnel they will help you out you do a macro 1 and 2 before you depart the dc and a mac 3 arrival at and mac 4 depart from each stop (stops are store's and back haul locations) then a mac 5 arrive @ final and mac 6 empty call when you return. Also have fun chasing stickers on pallets!

I was on tbis acct out of the potterville ca dc. Was only on it for about 3 weeks. Found out swift only covers it when they need other carriers . Cr england is the main carrier here in so cal. Kept bugging dm to get me on it permanently and he confirm what i was told. You will run your 14 hour doing rhis. What i liked about it was i could deliver as soon as i got there. The times they gave me to deliver was the latest i can get there. If whole trailer went to that store it was drop and grab an empty. If you had multiple stops, the last was drop and grab an empty. Hope you enjoy it as much as l.did.

The only dumb question is the one you don't ask. Planners at the DC will help you, don't be afraid to ask. I did dedicated out of Buckeye, AZ and Harrisonville, MO. I loved it. They used up just about your entire 70 and always managed to give me enough time to get back to my terminal for reset.

I've worked at 2 DCs, and at both the dispatchers did the loaded and empty calls. I just had to do the 3 and 4 at the stores.
