Truck Service Schedules and Rant

I simply drop my truck in the wash line at our local Ryder, and fill out a paper DVIR to let them know what needs work. This weekend, it's a fogged headlight and a weatherstripping seal under the hood. Then I go home and have happy bedroom time.

 

Sorry for your headaches. We all go through it when we start out. I'm going to be bringing my home terminal shop a big bag if goodies for Easter because they are without ? The best shop I've ever had and my DM a big Easter basket because she is an awesome DM (and she is a cutie to boot). It brings back memories to read these trucker rants because it reminds me of all the year's I had to Wade through the Werner's , knights , Panthers to find this trucking company I've been with that goes out of it's way to make me happy. They are so good to me i worry some times (are they going to go out of business?) But they just dumped millions more into there terminals so I doubt they are going out of business ..... I have sat in the operations room and hear them speak to other drivers so I know they aren't just being good to me. I just wish all the beginners didn't have to fight through the garbage there first few years.

 

No knight is ####. The owners are ####. The company is made of ####. It's a training company not an employer. My shop is amazing I love them. .......
HOWEVER ........
#### companies like knight are great for testing and pushing limits. If you want to leave a #### company like knight I would see what it would take to get fired. You tell them this is how it's going to be. Very calm very cool just say this is how it's going to be and your going to perform. But that may be harder then it sounds if you have bills , wife's , kids etc etc and you may be a kid yourself.

Its their equipment as long ss your company driver your responsibility to folow their rules!

 

And you just failed the English part of your CDL.
