If you hate sitting, I wouldn't go tank! I pulled pneumatic for Beelman for 6 months, got tired of the constant waiting and went back to strictly end dump. Them tank boys say they make better money...

I left, bought a truck and leased on everywhere. I had a good experience there. I spent a lot of time on the road though. I know wood river lost a lot of drivers but not sure why.

 

So, it seems that some companies that guarantee minimum pay use your per diem to make up the difference if you don't make minimum. Is that normal procedure?

 

I don't know; never have worked at a company that has guaranteed minimum.

 

MILS will take the difference from your next paycheck. So basically it's an advance on pay, not free moneys.

 

I think I like the advance on the per diem instead.
