I'm just curious as to whether or not anyone here (company, but mostly O/O) has any information on gaining contracts through BNSF in Edgerton, KS for hauling cans, and what the process consists of. I've hauled intermodal in KC in the past as a company driver, so I've been through all major hubs in KC. But now that I'm ready to go O/O, I'm reading through the forums and researching as much as possible. What are your average loads per day or week, what are rates going for, how are they with billing...
I live very close to the new intermodal, so it would be ideal to set up contacts and contracts there. Feel free to connect with me directly or just reply here. Thanks!

Thanks. I've found their carrier contract, so have been studying off of that this morning. I don't see anything there for power only, though, and I don't want to have to lease chassis. Anyone know if BNSF accepts power only?

Hello ,
we are out of KS as well. I just got my new authority and have been wondering the same thing in how to get freight. I was leased on to a company before deciding to get my own authority, I just signed up and became active at BNSF I just wanted to know if you were able to figure out how to get loads around here.
