It is very simple why USIS has not had any access's to your DAC. You are now involved in a legal action against USIS involving your DAC, And though there may have been 50 requests for your Dac, none have been able to access it, and thus you don't have a good or bad Dac according to prospective employers. That is a giant red flag to an employer, it didn't come back as bad, it didn't cone back at all.
USIS knows that if they continue to allow access to your dac with the false or misleading info on it, and they lose the case, you could sue them for damages for each and every false dac that was sent. You want to talk about bancruptcy, that would sure do it. They are in effect limiting losses if in fact they lose.
So,instead of sending out more potential losses for the company, your dac is a giant black hole. Nothing gets out.

The only thing that I can think of that may be hindering you is time. You have not been actively employed since JB Hunt. Some companies reqiure a certain amount of expierence in the last two years or three years etc.. The longer you remain unemployed the less recent expierence you have. Once you reach a certain "point of no return" you would have to take a refresher course or possibly ride with a trainer for a few weeks. Of course this depends on the company. Some offer it some don't. You have not driven since May of 05. That is the only thing I can imagine that could be a problem.

Interesting that 18 completed the program out of how many? He mentioned 150 plus...

That only goes to show he may not know the real numbers....

BTW that looks like a little bit better then a 10% success rate...

Portland, you're reading the numbers wrong. 18 lease drivers completed their leases last month. 150 or so are "scheduled" to complete their leases for 2006. At least I assume that's what he means by "year"--January to January.

So...150 drivers complete their leases, 18 of which did so in July. At the end of this year, if you can find the total number of drivers who've waded into a J.B. lease, you'll get a true percentage of success. Of course, this Mahaffey dude won't tell you THAT number. If he did, you may find the success rate may be even less than ten percent.

I wonder if any of these lease operators are leasing more than one truck to JBH. If that 150 lease completions are really 20 guys who have leased more than one truck and like 10 who are leasing only their own rigs, that'd really skew the data.

We on the outside don't know these things. We aren't going to be allowed to know them, either. If we knew them, we'd then know the truth, wouldn't we?

Here's some more numbers on JB Hunt, that I just discovered.

On February 14, 2006 during the Federal Court hearing where the Judge slapped an injunction against JB Hunt, Inc. from contacting active drivers of CRST in their driver break rooms, quoted in court were figures that boggle the mind. JB Hunt currently suffering a 150% turnover rate. They reported to have a staff of 11,000 drivers. This means that they are turning more than 300 drivers per week in and out of those revolving doors.

    There's more....

It was further disclosed that JBHunt has a recruiting staff of...get this...160 driver recruiters. They log on average....80,000 phone calls per week in the process of trying to get 300 drivers into one of their trucks each week.

Think about that for just a minute. Divide 300 into 80,000. It takes them 266 phone calls for every one driver that actually gets hired.

That's utterly pathetic in my opinion.

I retract that statement. I'm not going to cyberspank you. You've done a fine job of that all by yourself.

If I spanked you properly, I'd be crossing a line that I don't want to cross. In your latest post, and in other slug trails you have left across the trucking web, it's painfully obvious that you are ruthless when it comes to recruiting for that desperate company. You'll do anything and say anything to lure people into your little spiderweb.

All I will state in this forum, because it is publicly available information, is for anyone who wants to see what this guy does and types....is to simply...

    Google "sheepdancer"

Just in case you missed the post in another thread...

Around 160 driver recruiters work for JB Hunt.
JB Hunt suffers a 150% turnover rate.
Recruiters for JB Hunt place or take approximately 80,000 calls per week in the process of filling those 300 empty trucks per week.

The above was disclosed in a Federal court hearing on February 14, 2006, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where an injunction was slapped on JB Hunt for attempting to recruit active drivers employed at CRST International, Inc..
