I"m not really seeing any BAD infor on THIS thread. Other then the 6 months.
G13Tomcat Thanks this. -
That's what I was referring to. Some "trucker" had to say this and probably expressed it is as some sort of fact and as an informational point.
-
Of course wrong information gets said on the forum none of us are on the same page but its the chance ppl that ask questions have to take unless they ask those questions to the ppl that deal with that sort of thing.

Some things are subjective and we can understand how there may be several different takes on a particular subject, but the notion [that obviously was spoken at some point] that an inspection means you are or may be immune for 6 months from further inspections, is just WRONG and not based on personal feelings or viewpoints. And it's not like such an idea was ever published in a state's CMV rules/regs publication. And it's these sorts of tales and lore that get new drivers in trouble down the road.
You hear something? Do your own homework, get second and third opinions and try and find "official" confirmation of the subject at hand.Last edited: Jun 15, 2017

I once read a news story on the internet. It was the locals new. Those are never wrong.

Outside of the yearly CVSA roadcheck an inspection a lot of times falls into 3 categories. A cop observes or hear's something and stops you to look further. A cop stops you because your company's trucks are being targeted state wide. Your stopped because you are truck number 10 in a line. Moral of the story. Always run legal and keep your paperwork neat and in order!
