    1. Are you dry van or reefer?
    2. Do they still have the in-cab scanner for paperwork?
    3. How many miles are you averaging per week?
    4. In your opinion what percentage of loads are drop and hook?
    5. What parts of the country do you spend the most time or are you spread out throughout the 48 states?
    6. Do they pre-plan trips and force you to follow their route or do they allow you to deviate and plan your own route?
    7. Are you responsible to pay for lumpers out of pocket and get reimbursed or do they issue you checks to pay for them?

I am sure I will have more but that is what is coming to mind right now.

@bdb1994 I thought of a couple more questions.

The recruiter I spoke with mentioned the shop will sell me an inverter for around $190 and will install for free. Any idea what wattage those inverters are, I forgot to ask her.

I did not ask about refrigerators, if they are allowed and if the shop will install them. I plan to cook as much as I can in the truck to save money on the road. I hear those truck stop meals are expensive and can leave a lot to be desired.

Maybe she said $119 when I talked to her, that northern accent gets me sometimes :D:p. I messaged and asked about fridges, when she responds I will post it here. In the meantime if someone stops by with knowledge of the situation I am sure they will share their knowledge.

Are you talking about a dorm style fridge from Walmart running off the inverter ?

When I was with them I had the dorm style fridge running off of an inverter. I had them remove the pass seat and I mounted it there with some 2x4s ,tie downs, and factory seat bolts with extra large washers .. they had no problem with that

The company that I'm with now has the built in option that's awesome but the freezer is so tiny !

Awesome. I may not want to remove the passenger seat as I plan to take my wife or daughter with me at some point. I guess I will just have to assess the situation when I get my own truck.

Keep in touch and let me know how orientation goes. Which recruiter are you working with?
