Well, I have CDL with a clean driving record it's just the work history that I also have type 2 diabetes also sleep apnea. I was told at my school some trucking companies would not hire drivers that have diabetes or high blood pressure.

Try those I listed, plus any others. Try Craigslist also.
Khan D' Kulia Trucking in Pomona hires new cdl grads. I think they're a household goods mover. Also have their own cdl school. Their ad says they hire new cdl grads.(www.kdktrain.com) One driver posted they're pretty laid back on hiring.

Thousands of drivers have Type 2 diabetes. Many have blood pressure problems, but if it can be controlled with medication, you're ok.

Thanks, I just don't want to be like the people that work in the ports in Los Angeles that don't make anything.
Chinatown Thanks this. -
There's the myth those drivers are rolling in cash and home every day. In the beginning of my career worked for a container company and didn't stay long. Their standard of living at home wasn't what I wanted.
Those Longshoremen will get what's coming to them soon when the ports are automated. Those guys think they're the kings now and show it by being abusive to everyone, especially truck drivers. Soon they'll get a taste of their own medicine.bottomdumpin, dptrucker, Bean Jr. and 1 other person Thank this. -
