I'd also contact Dynamic Transit and ask if they'll work with you. With your previous experience they may be another option.
"The Dynamic Transit service area is all of the lower 48 states. Our core business is focused around the Midwest, Southeast, Western Plains and West Coast. We have locations in St. Louis, Kansas City, Denver and Los Angeles."
Dynamic Frequently Asked Questions:
How can I apply to become a driver?
Applying online is the best option, but we can also mail, fax, or email an application to you.
What areas of the country do you travel?
Our drivers are permitted to run all 48 states, but the majority of our running lanes are west of the Mississippi River.
What do you haul?
Our freight consists of both dry and refrigerated products; however nearly all of it is hauled in reefer trailers.
Guess it's back to school

DOT Foods in Modesto. Call and talk to Don, ask him about your gap in time and the hiring process.

You don't need to go back to school if you have an active CDL. Don't waste that good money.

Many companies only require 2-3yrs within the last 10yrs, and even better companies only require 6mos-1yr within the last three. Go sign up on this website (Tenstreet), fill out the 'Intelliapp' and submit it. Your phone will ring off the hook - guaranteed.

Well it sounds like "Legend Transportation" in Yuba City might work with me. Anyone know anything good or bad about them ?

The search box in the upper right hand corner is your friend; Google is a friend, too. A quick search will turn up a handful of threads on here, and Google will get you some more info. Run their name through SAFER, as well - let YOUR fingers do the walking.sal Thanks this. -
I did a search and like you said a handful of threads mostly negative . I went and talked with them today and of course they seemed great. They said everything I wanted to hear (= AKA Recruiter ) Can start without a trainer just a refresh / update on any changed log rules, plus a option paper or electric . If it works out fine if not I'll stay and rack up some drive time.
