I drive a slow truck, I do not want or need everyone going as fast or as slow as me. To many variables to have a national speed limit. Split speed limits are dangerous and should be abolished, with that said we need to fight to make speed limits the same for all cars and trucks to be the same.

If the speed is the same for cars as they are for trucks the be my guest. Please bring on a national speed limit. Split speed limits are insane. I agree with all the other posts ( too many to quote ) . They create a dangerous situation when a big truck is "trying" to drive the legal limit and everyone else is zipping along and cutting you off and merging in front of you( if you're lucky, more like cutting you off). They don't realize how aggrivating and angering it is. Those are two things that I think everyone will agree is a bad thing .. a ticked off big trucker is a bad thing, and with some of the less expierienced drivers out now it can be deadly.
