Finally got back into an area with internet reception. I just crossed into Utah and stopped at that viewing spot on 80 just south of the 84 interchange. Been a beautiful ride so far. Knocked out 400 miles the first day stayed at the ambest in Lincoln Nebraska. Made it to the Conoco station I point of rocks wy last night ending the day with 650 miles down. I've got plenty of time to get to get me post Truckee scales. Any decent places to park up for the night between Truckee and Dutch flat CA? Of the few truck stops I know of the parking is kinda limited.

Cisco at exit 165 is about it I think. If you must be past truckee scale to call it a day. No early parking at receiver?

Silly me, I thought I had a faster truck than I do. Was only able to make it to Fernley. Currently at the loves till in the am. I think that's a solid day of driving. 690 miles in a 65mph elog truck...
