Learned today that my mother sold the house, closing Monday (motivated buyer).

That was fast. Elapsed time from decision to sell to close--71 days.

She got her asking price too.

Saw a sales girl at a Victoria's Secret trying to explain the technical intricacies of lingerie to some poor sap trying to get something for his girlfriend.

I wanted to tell her that a guy shopping for lingerie is kind of like a kid shopping for cereal. He doesn't so much care about the package as the prize inside.
