So instead of trying to get a job and thereby answering the question yourself, you're on here asking us if you can get a job?

Yeah, you can get a job. You got fired. The worst is over.
Future reference, DO NO TRANSPORT BEER INSIDE YOUR CMV!!!!!!!! That was just plain stupid. Number One Rule of Safety: If possible, AVOID bad situations all together. Comprende?Bean Jr., MachoCyclone, tman78 and 10 others Thank this. -
sure. Here's the deal and what you need to remind him of when you meet........he can turn you in (and nothing would happen) BUT, he'd also be turning himself in because it would go against his CSA. He's just pissed at you for reasons known only to you. Give it a day or two and move on. You're not in any trouble.Wanderer1 and Midlife driver Thank this.

oh, and never admit it to anyone.......his word against yours.....pick up and drive on.
-
this was in their companies yard....Bean Jr. and Midlife driver Thank this.

my PSP is still clean, this is on my DAC , please what is CSV point ? can I still find job ?
-
dispute the DAC.......unless he called the law, it's your word against his. And the folks at DAC are real sensitive to unsubstantiated claims. Dispute the DAC or you probably won't drive for a while
A21CAV Thanks this. -
Forget the CSV.
Im thinking of CSA. My apologies, here is the FMCSA's PDF file on CSA which apparently is now being or has just been updated to SMS.

I am not alcoholic nor irresponsible driver. I just did not know the rules. So far about 10 companies turn me down. I don't know what to do. Is my driving career over ?
-
I didn't call you an alcoholic or irresponsible, did I? I said DO NOT TRANSPORT BEER INSIDE YOUR CMV.
Every company on the planet will axe you. Every DOT cop on the planet will hassle you. Doesn't matter if it's opened or closed. Got it?
And do not take any picture of alcoholic beverages inside your truck and post them on social media. Had a friend, owner op, get his contract terminated because he took a picture of an unopened can of beer sitting on the dash of his truck.Last edited: Jun 23, 2017
MachoCyclone, noluck, Highway Sailor and 6 others Thank this.
