You should be alright.Yes,some Tricks drivers have told me that worked for them: Try to get in there Early in the morning when they open.,before you eat to keep your sugars ,and BP down low.Drink water (a decent amount) and memorize DEFOETECH for the eye test.

If you are as worried about it as you say you are, fast after 5pm the day before your physical. Period.
Starting now, right now, cut out white bread, white rice, potatoes, corn, all full flavored regular soft drinks & fruit juices, most red meat, fast food, most processed, packaged foods, whole milk - these all turn to instant sugar the minute they hit your mouth.
Also remember, drink water in moderation before your physical. Too much water actually increases your blood pressure, and if you're borderline pre-hypertension, say 136/88, 8oz or more of liquids can throw you over the 140/90 long enough to get probed about your Bp history and stuck with a 90 day card.

    NO! 200 will fail you.
    Read this:
"For someone without diabetes, a fasting blood sugar on awakening should be under 100 mg/dl. Before-meal normal sugars are 7099 mg/dl. “Postprandial” sugars taken two hours after meals should be less than 140 mg/dl. Those are the normal numbers for someone without diabetes."

    Now, go here:

Yeah, sadly the good parts all fatty and marbled is the bad stuff - lean red meat is okay - (I still slam the ribeyes & tbones)

Reading your first post; I suggest that you quit assuming anything about your health and go see your primary care physician ASAP - your neck size, waist size, BMI, ##### length, or ring size means very little. I digress. Go see your Dr. ASAP and ask them to run a 'fasting' set of labs & panels on you. If they look at you funny, run out of there and get another Dr.
All a 'fasting' set of labs/panels is that you eat nothing 12-18hrs before having blood drawn, usually two tubes worth for a full set of labs workup. You drink nothing, too, except a little water to brush your teeth or swallow meds, that's it. They'll draw the blood & you'll have results in 24hrs or less. Then you will know irrefutably where you are medically from blood sugar/glucose, to red & white blood cell count, to Thyroid health, to creatine levels, to Cholesterol levels - all very important things to know. Get a copy and take them to the physical with you.
Sadly, most adults have ZERO idea what their actual state of health is.
