So is $25/hr the typical wage for local driving in Alberta these days?
-
Seems like what others are saying is that $23-27/hr seems to be the norm. I'm thinking that larger loads, class 1 jobs, bi-train runs, wide loads, heavy construction equipment moving are the best paying jobs out there. What would allow a driver to make $100K/yr? Maybe more seniority?
Thank you all for the great advice all of you have given, it helps a lot !! -
We start our drivers at $30.00 plus Overtime, LOA, Pension, H&W etc etc etc.

I'm a school bus driver, so I know the pre-trip would have to be much different on a gravel truck right? of course checking over the air brakes system. I'm going for my Q endorsement soon and wondering how I learn about the pre-trip? Oh, found some youtube videos, some are not so great.
