Metal Transportation - Multiple Addresses

Hey, can you give me more information on Metal? How and why did they get shut down in the state of NY? I am an injured worker they hung out to dry 7 years ago. Have a torn up shoulder that was never fixed cause of them and am still in court battles all these years. Won my case but haven't been able to get them to pay. Now it looks like they are trying to pull a fast one by changing their name to Xxpress. They never registered that name change with the bankruptcy court or the court that is hangling my case. If any one has any info they can give me, valid info, i sure would appreciate it.

I drive past their terminal-{JUNK YARD}- in oswego NY all the time. they are still running trucks. It is under a different name though. it wasnt that long ago when they had really nice equipment now i wouldnt drive them through town.

 

Hey there, I am an injured worker from Metal transportation who was injured 7 years ago. I am still trying to fight the legal battle of being paid, TTD and Medical expenses which they were ordered to pay me more than 5 years ago.

My shoulder was tore up and is still in need of surgery. It was never done because of all legal battles and Metal's failure to pay even the bills they pre-approved. I have lost my home and everything I own during this fight. I have even had to live in a tent during some of the worse weather we have had in this area. Currently, I am still technically homeless but I am living in someone's house. I do not get SSD, medicare or medicaid, all do to the long legal mess with Metal. It's a real long story and not enough room here, guess you will have to wait for me to write the book on this, LOL.

Anyhow, what I need from any drivers willing to talk to me, is where your pay checks are drawn from, name of bank and state. An account number and company name would be really helpful. I can then give this information to my attorney. We go to court this Friday to get a garnishment order again. We had one 5 years ago but then they filed for reorganizational bankruptcy and that put it on hold.

Now from what I understand, Metal is in debt to NY State workers compensation commission for over a half million dollars as they didn't carry work comp insurance from 2002 until present. So if you are currently employed by them or Xxpress, be diligent and make sure they have work comp insurance. Don't fall for the line of bull that they are self insured or you might wind up like I am now.

Metal Transports, XX Express, ... or any other names for Mark L.

They are now are residing on their country estate ( with their 50 horses) in Utah.

Did they go out of business or is Xxpress still staying a float? Has anyone seen any Xxpress trucks on the move lately?

I knew they had a lot of Arabian show horses. He even has one named "HeMann" guess he thinks he is cute or something, LMAO.

From 1989 to 2001 I was employed first w/LTS known as longshore transportation systems and then (name changed) to MTS also known as metal transpotation.When I was there that was a good company to work for.After I left (moved to North Carolina)whenever I went back home I would go and see the guys I used to work with.The last time I was up there I found out that there was a lot of bad stuff going on with the company.Mainly the person that Mark had running the company was screwing the company over and was doing some Illeagal stuff.It has all gone down hill after that,and Mark Longshore is to busy with his good life that he doesn't care about the drivers as long as they are making him money for his good life.It was a sorry day when I seen good drivers and mechanics leave because they had enough.

 

I drove for this company at one time awhile back.I saw this forum and joined for the sole purpose of maybe helping someone out.I no longer drive a truck and have a good job and have no fear of the trucking industry or Metal Transportation for telling the truth as I see fit.I was in the industry for 8 years and worked for this company for a year and a half.I drove thru the bankruptcy times and watched the asset's slowly get sipphoned off so that Mr. Longshore could have and keep his good life.He is very good at dragging things thru court and at playing the shell game.He hides his asset's and money very well so that it is in his best interest's.Good luck trying to take him to court and getting money from him.He is very guilty of frauding workmen's compensation,unemployement,unpaid insurance claims and many other things.I will not go into what happened to me but the afore mentioned things I have first hand knowledge of.I survived the experience and gave up trucking because of them.My life and well being are not for sale nor to give Mr. Longshore the good life he seek's and craves for.Beware if he is starting up other companies or other business ventures.Run and get away from him fast!You'd be better collecting unemployment and alot safer and at least be home with your loved one's.Mr. Longshore cares about one thing and one thing only!Money,Money,Money!None for you and all for him and his endeavors!He does not care about you!He has his little spread in Utah and his toy's.The question I ask anyone who work's for him is why are you making him money!I hope you get the picture!If you drive for Mr. Longshore you have been for warned!Drive at your own risk!This next message is for Mr. Longshore himself!You might be having the good life hear and now on earth!But, one day you will have to answer to the Grand Architect of the Universe and I hope I get a front row seat to watch you try and weasel your way out of your short comings.You have earned a place for your soul and I'll let you sit in the corner to figure it out!"Hey what's that burning smell!

 

We will see what this month brings as I am taking their butts back to court yet again. It's been a long battle. Next month will be 8 years since I was injured. I will be a thorn in their sides until the day I die if that is what it takes. I refuse to give up. I thank God I have a good lawyer who also refuses to give up.

But I could still use some help if anyone out there has the guts to give it. I need the name of a bank they are using. Like where their payroll checks are drawn from, that sort of thing. The person who gives it to me can remain anonymous. It would just be added to the list of other names we have from the past to check into.

I would appreciate anyone's help or suggestions. Send me a PM if you prefer. Don't include your real name, I do not want or need it and NO you will never be asked to testify. I need to talk to someone who has worked for them since they changed the name from Metal to Xxpress. Yes it is the same company and yes its already been proved in court. All I really need to know is the name of the bank the payroll account was drawn off of when you worked there. I have names from when I worked there back in 2000 but I don't know if they changed banks or not.

Either way I will find it and I will cease their assets but if someone can give me some names that would save precious time.

I just left Xxpress after nine yrs. I still have a couple of friends employed there whom I talk to daily. I'm sure we would both be glad to help. I don't mind giving my name because if Mark doesn't pay up then I may have to visit him in Utah. I've been to the house in Peoa and the Park City address shouldn't been hard to find. Mark and Chris (head bean counter) are operating out of another new office in West Valley, UT. I also found an address is Henderson, TN although I'm unable to locate it now. I think thats what showed when you punched his DOT numbers into the SAFER ASSIST WEB Site. I also have a cached web pae you may be interested in seeing. It seems after I quit I happened on a 1 day chance finding of "Katalyst" which I'm sure you know was the name of his boat. Well he has another company by that name. Contact me as it seems we need to talk. In the meantime I'll work on the bank he uses.
