The exit ramps are too tight on a lot of the exits north of 18 as well. They talked about opening them up n making it more accessible to trucks couple years back... Ain't heard about it since lolNavigatorWife and Tug Toy Thank this. -
South of tinton falls exit 18 there are no restrictions.
They keep trucks off the parkway north of exit 18 because it starts to get into the congestion of north jersey and they dont want to bother the 4 wheelers. Some politician who doesnt like trucks on his home route to his 4 million dollar estate, payed for by the tax payer, came up with these rules. Usually how it happens everywere. Sir yuppie doesn't wine or cry when he goes to the local yuppie stop and buys his $50,000 dollar italian suit and matching $20,000 set of golf clubs and that power ranger tight suit he weres when he rides his dumb little bicycle in the middle of a congested 2 lane highway holding up another truck thats delivering more of his yuppie bs do he?
You see alot of this sub human sickness around D.C. and Northern Virginia as wellLast edited: Jul 4, 2017

25 stops later and I have an empty flatbed. My opinion is no amount of Money can get me here either. I also never turn down a load, I just price it to make them go away. Well they didn't go away. I took the running rate I thought would cover it..... doubled it then.....doubled that. They said when can you be there for pickup??? lol. what are ya gonna do?

Wish I had heard that before I was driving on the parkway. Nice wide road, no trucks except me. I see a few Mounties, but no one chases me down. I was pulling frozen food for shoprite. Couldn't read the whole sign when I got on the ramp.....I saw no pedestrians, no bicycles, no this or that, but couldn't see the bottom line. I sorta thought they ought to put No Trucks on the top line......pedestrians aren't going very fast, nor bicyclists. But then, who doesn't know parkway no way! ??? Me.
Got off at the next exit, no problem.motocross25 Thanks this. -
Well see that's what I always thought too they'd have NO TRUCKS as the top line. That's how they getcha.
