The owner Rick is a slave master that does not out right tell you to cheat on your log book but books your appointment times for loads so close together that you have no choice. When brought to his attention he plays ignorant and tells you how important the load is and must be on time for delivery or pick up. The parent company is called Gracious Decor, and after doing some research I cannot understand how it has the resources to fund the buying of all the trucking equipment, unless money is being funneled in from elsewhere like over seas. The truck broke down in Sikeston, MO. and I had to have my girlfriend to come and get me after being stuck there for 2 days. I STRONGLY URGE ANY AND ALL DRIVERS TO STEER CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY AND IT'S OWNER!!!

Seems Indiana companies are closing in on Illinois companies as far as bad reports go.
Though I know the OP most likely won't be back, I have to ask...is Gracious Decor some sort of Home Furnishings outlet? -
Curious thing about that.
Many fleets are registering their trucks in IN now, and somehow with personalized license plates. -
My employer does that and we're not the only ones. UPS does it too. I think it's a "registration of convenience" type of deal for most companies. However,we have a terminal in Indiana so maybe there's a legal loophole involved.
-
All the LTL's seem to be doing that, except perhaps for NEMF. I'll have to look next time I see one of theirs.
-
Maybe the State of Indiana is so hard up for cash that they're offering bargains on truck registrations. It's bad enough they increased their diesel fuel tax this month(up to $.31 cents a gallon as of July 1st).

UPS, Schneider, Werner, are a few of the ones I've seen.

Cheaper base plates. But you have to have a manned terminal ir office in the state of In. Plus In. is a right to work state, thus you can be let go for no reason...
-
I wonder how much the unions spent convincing people of this. Whatever it was, it was worth it.
All a right to work state means, is a person is not required to join the union to be employed.
What you are looking for is an at will state, and all states are, with varying degree of laws stating as such. -
Insurance is also cheaper in IN
