No they are not. There is one dc doing that due to it being so small. It was the gtm's decision.

Yes introducing a new program would require approval from the RTM. Eliminating or adding existing programs are the Gtm's decision. Our dc has posted 8 five day tractors in just the last couple weeks. Our GTM says one thing that he can say for sure is assigned trucks are not going anywhere. You guys believe every little rumor you hear.

What they give, they can take away.

And absolutely believe your GTM. Right up till the minute it changes.

Maybe you should reread my posts. I NEVER said assigned trucks were going away. Set runs, and programs, YES. You'll keep your truck, enjoy your 5/2 work schedule.

Oh. And after 17 years here, I think I have a pretty good idea what's going on, and the games ( no matter how good you think they are) management plays.

I agree with you set runs and wpm runs will be gone. And that's not a bad thing it will spread things around more. Very few on here have enough longevity for that to affect them anyhow.

Have a great day be safe.

So you mean, hire in as a grunt driver...stay a grunt driver forever? Nothing to upgrade to or be promoted to....sit upright for the camera, be micromanaged for years and smile when they put it to you???

Your comments make no sense . Out of a dc with say 120 drivers there may be 10 or so set runs. So yeah you could see one in 15 to 20 years. I know guys with 20 years longevity and can only hold a Wed out. So it's only going to only effect a small percentage if it should happen.

You weren't promised anything when you accepted the job. I don't have a set run nor want one. I never extend and do over a 100k a year. Long as the paycheck is here then I am good.

No I don't care for a driver facing camera . But if your doing your job as we should be then should not be an issue. Again no I don't like the cameras but I will survive.

Who's micro managing you ? All I do is enter etds and get paperwork and deliver loads. Not sure how that's micro managed. I very seldom have to speak more then a few words to anyone unless I choose to.
