    Let me know where this is at and I can look at the raw current map data for this turn.

    @Mark Kling
    I should have added that the route into that location was correct on the GPS but leaving the next morning it wanted to be temperamental

    I will look at it, but I suspect that in the morning you did not move enough for the Lat/Long to sense your movement and direction.

    It's pretty common for any gps to act screwey when leaving a certain place. Copilot and google did the same thing.

    Sometimes I'd have no clue if i'm supposed to go left or right. When leaving the parking lot. Untill i've actually rolled out in to the street and start moving any direction. THEN gps kicks in.

    Reason is the parking lot or business you are at is simply not on the maps per see. The first legal point of travel is the road that the maps see. Until you hit the legal road it really does not know which way to go.

    This was common in Canada where a Paved legal road may be miles from where you are. If you route via the Lat/Long then the maps see a more legal route.

    I usually do this when I go to MATS. I find my parking space and then route to it via Lat/Long. When I leave it routes me from my location to the first legal road.

    If you look on your picture,, right below the speed limit indicator it shows NavTeq. It should be showing HERE by copyright. In your contact and about does it show HERE or NavTeq? If NavTeq, then your maps are not very current.

    It only takes a couple minutes to call the customer and ask for the exit number plus turn by turn directions to the dock.
    Large scale atlas takes care of the rest.
    GPS is good for absent minded folks who like to play candy crush while driving.

    My unit routed okay.. it made the right turn once I set the Origin off the main road. You probably did not have enough time/distance for the GPS to calculate the right route and it took a guess for routing. Any GPS needs to set time/distance by Lat/Long from one location to another to determine routing. If it cannot do this, then it "guesses" the route from your location off the main road.
