You are working remotely when 100 of your drivers are scattered to both coasts and some in canada.
If you like to be constantly rounding up the lazies who are going to be late today prior to sunrise.... and having them to call and explain themselves while taking up your time away from others who deserve it.

yes it can be done, it may be hard to find
my last fm did the telecommute thing for 1.5 years, company office is in TN he lived in FL
the owner sold the company and the new owner wouldn't let him telecommute anymore so he quit -
I used to be a fleet manager for jb #### and you're answer is lol no
Also I highly don't reccommend the job. Truckers in general are the biggest group of moronic idiots who need constant hold handing. The sheer stupidity of truckers is truly astounding, they're truly bottom of the barrel in society and truckers earned the bad rap we get from society. There are a few normal and dare I say even smart truckers out there and i'm sure most of the folks on here fit that profile but they're few and far betweenToothpick1, x1Heavy and STexan Thank this. -

I think is better if they pay the dispatcher/ driver manager a share of the loads that's the only way I would do it..... companies pay per hour or salary( which means you are on the clock 24/7) I would do it for percentage only and that's why I left corporate America I cant stand to watch a lazy sob doing bare minimum while I worked my rear flat.
x1Heavy Thanks this. -
Kind of ironic that a dispatcher who deals with their drivers remotely can't work remotely.

A DISPATCHER by any other name.......
You can polish it til it shines or even chrome plate it.... but it is still a turd. -
