Yes, I guess I should have mentioned that the watch needs to have a second hand. And my teammate and I should have charged, we passed that white out bottle around SO MUCH. :p

They will let you choose your home terminal....
Likely even find you a trainer out of your home area.

Charlie and Ronald are by far the best instructors there. They had another one who was also an excellent instructor, Lynn... but he was actually killed when a student crushed him between two trailers.

You made the right choice training at Swift. People will talk ####, but as I am sure you saw down at DPS all those independent schools bring 20 people and 19 of them will fail the PTI and never come back.

Not sure who Ronald is. If he still works there, he was elsewhere during my stay. And yeah, while we were there the rumor mill was buzzing about the instructor who was killed. Very sad. Charlie's brother, Danny, was extremely sweet. One of those guys with a very gentle nature. Mark and David like to come across as tough, but you figure out pretty quickly that they are also very supportive and encouraging. Mark had us all intimidated the first few days. I never told him, but I nicknamed him Captain Giggles to help offset the intimidation factor. LOL. I'm silly, but it worked for me. I actually got Charlie's wife, Diana, as my drive week instructor, and even though she was brand-spankin-new to instructing, I felt like she did a really good job. She was patient, and calm, and really tried to make sure she was being understood and helpful.

The OP comment, "put your big girl panties on", left a lot to my imagination. ;-)

Good luck with your new venture, you seem like you'll do well.
