We get messages all the time telling about accidents, road closures etc. I want that info now, not after I'm stuck in a traffic jam.

You can still play the messages with the gps volume turned off. Don't turn down the main volume just hit the speaker button in bottom right corner. That just turns off the gps talking. Keep the master volume turned up and you can listen to the messages.

First at the very least take this to court. Judge will prob will reduce or drop speeding and just a fine.

Second as far as your job your fine. However if you where to get a second one before this goes away or off your record you could possibly loose your job or your cdl based on 2 major infraction .
Just be up for with your safety guy and tell him your plans on handling it.

WOW! Uniontown has been a speed trap for some time. Everyone who lives there is broke and not working...the only industry is liquor and drugs, so there only income for the city is speed tickets. Fighting it is the only option but I don't figure you will win against the city court. Perhaps a lawyer can get it reduced to a lessor offense or take it to a higher court. To all concerned, the city limits are extended past the city itself so you are under the radar long before you are entering the actual town. Sounds like you may get a ticket even if you are legal:((

They need to add how many on 14 for macro 11 (etd) many times i have 3 hours left to run and they put 2 loads on me that I can't dod because the clock still ticks down when I'm dropping and hooking and it doesn't allow for that.

That's why you have to fluff your hours for the additional time that it may take you. I never have this issue because I factor drop/hook/fuel etc time in.

Hey thanks! I feel a little better now. To add insult to injury I just found out that our minivan speedometer is 2 miles over. So basically I got a ticket for doing 70/55 and I was actually only doing 52mph!

Sounds like you were running into a lower speed zone and you took a bit too long to slow down for someone's comfort.
