    I thought I found it years ago . I think this evaporator is behind the airbox . I am on the road , not until I get home this weekend

    I am finally about to change this expansion valve.Does this require o rings or the flat gasket kinds? I have assorted AC gaskets and I am wondering if I need the round gasket.

    They should be the flat gasket type I believe.

    Good , wish me luck . My mechanic said at times , those small screws are a ##### to take out . One time he had to cut it off cause the screw wouldn't come out . I think it's the screw that holds the Expansion valve to the plate / bracket .

    Still the same problem after changing out the Expansion valve.Someone recommended cleaning the Evaporator in the dash.Anyone ever experienced this?
