If you do a pole,. I would do a dish like he has. The auto-searching dish like I have rotates around and shook the pole. I played hell trying to get it to lock on satellites more than a few occasions. Very frustrating.
I now have a hinged plate that is bolted to the back of the sleeper. Rock solid and works every time. Being a company driver,.. not sure if that is an option for you.
Those brackets and U bolts look promising for making a solid mount to a company truck.

the nice thing about the setup I had was NO lag time when it needed to change sat's.
I could record 2 shows at the same time (on 2 sat's) and record shows when I was sleeping to watch later
I had a web site I would go to and it would show all the setting for the dish for were I was parked, angle, tilt, every thing. would take about 2 min to set the dish then just push the mast up and turn it to point the right way by the time I was back in the truck it was locked on and working
I had that setup on 2 trucks for 4 years
btw I did have to move it over the first time because when I put the mast down it hit the drivershaft,Last edited: Jul 9, 2017
LimpyLegs Thanks this. -
You bought our stick-on style bracket? Well, there will be no holes in their truck then. But if you want, take a picture of the back of your truck and call me. You can text it to my email and we can put our heads together with you to find the best solution.

I used a plastic cutting board to mount my kingquest automatic dish to the "qualcom bracket." Worked well.

Nice! Hadn't thought of that yet. But plastic would be easy to work with for cutting and drilling anyway.
