Let me rush right out and pay $300k for a truck and trailer that depreciates faster than a Yukon sinks in a river. Then hire a complete moron to operate said truck and trailer with the goal of making enough money to buy another truck so I can find the next winner of the gene pool lottery. My wife is correct. No more drivers.

Absolutely! You either run 1 truck, or have a big enough fleet to stay home and manage it. Anything in between is a nightmare.

You know I was thinking, what are they going to charge him with? It's not theft since the bill of lading gives you legal possession, it's not insurance fraud since no claim was filed. Littering maybe?

His boat was not properly licensed for that lake? ;)

Am still trying to figure out what his plan was? Claim it must have been stolen from the auction after he dropped it? Hauling cars for more than 10 minutes you know every auction/rail yard has cameras & stamps for everything that happens.
Also trying to imagine what his expression was when the Yukon did not go underwater.
Wonder if he's ever given advice on this or any other forum for car haulers...

    Terry270 and Hammer166 Thank this.

"How rich will I be hauling cars off Central with my worn out dually and rusty wedge? I already have the cargo straps to tie them down."

Back in my cop days, I got a report of a car in the major lake nearby. The owner had called to report it stolen, and it was setting in about two feet of water just off the bank, brick still in the floorboard by the gas pedal. Couldn't help but laugh, knowing it was insurance fraud on his expensive BMW.
