If you don't do drugs, what does it matter?

That's crazy, absolute zero privacy in this industry.I wonder if they observe non cdl holders I doubt it.Don't they do the same thing to jailbirds?
Prof.Gringo and Luke628 Thank this. -
You know what would even be worse? If they actually asked to hold the pee cup for you!

The collector had absolutely no reason to suspect a thing, when I was called back there he first told me to put my stuff in a locker (standard stuff) and then he asked me if my employer informed me my test would be observed to which I replied no.
I don't believe he suspected a thing, he didn't look right at my junk like they did in the military he stood well behind me, if he suspected anything I would think he'd of wanted a closer look. -
Yeah if you have nothing to hide what does it matter.
Why not let the cops show up at your house at 3am with no warrant and toss your house and demand a urine sample from each member of the family.
I don't want this thread to turn into an argument and get locked so I won't respond to you again given your history.
But that attitude infuriates me.HotH2o, driverdriver, 7-UP and 2 others Thank this. -
This is what I keep finding
"Under Texas and federal laws, there is almost no limitation at all on the right of private employers to adopt drug and alcohol testing policies for their workers."
I can't find anything that specifically says what you're describing. It may just be a company policy for the company that you applied at though it seems kind of extreme.
Drug Testing in the WorkplaceStudebaker Hawk and Luke628 Thank this. -
well then, maybe your employer has it in THIER rules that one must be observed.
OR, it could be the policy of the test site to observe, to insure no doctoring of the sample?
so frankly, your employer should have told you. your beef is with your employer from this point, not the collection site.CrappieJunkie Thanks this. -
Here, let me............
