Is driving on the shoulder normal procedure for Freymiller drivers? Or, is it only when Swift blocks the road for miles at a time? Lol

There is a video of one Swifty trying to pass another for miles and a Freymiller driver finally has enough and takes the shoulder to get around them.

You are lucky. Get up and go. Pace yourself.

Most companies give a newbie 300 miles paid and 5 days to deliver the pittance. I filled the QC when Anderson did that to me. Sitting on my soda filled sugared ### behind a virginia beach gas station that passes for a truckstop waiting on a reicever appt time into wed of the next week that year after orientation.

What I should have done is put down the van offer and gone specialized. Get to haul battle tanks on a lowboy or something. Maybe tombstones they like so much on flatbeds. It has to be better than what I got that first weekend. 300 mile run because Im not used to working in a big truck. Come on now dispatch, don't insult my intelligence.

That was 30 years ago, Im still angry...
