That would be awesome. Look deeper in to the details, I don't know. I've gotta leave for work; will check back tomorrow to see if you've got any more info. I'll help how I can; wishing you the best.

Unfortunately, most tuition reimbursement that companies offer is only if you sign on with them first, directly out of school, and where you went to CRST for your "school" they may not even recognize that. Not saying all do this, but most do.

But for local work you have RC Moore, Hartt, Regency, A. Dung Pyle, US Foodservice, Performance Foods, Nappi Distributors, Federal Distributors, Sysco (which start their drivers at $22.25/hr) and a ton of construction companies this time of year.
Regency Transportation and aramil248 Thank this. -
They black balled me. I couldnt work for any mega companies. They kept my training records. I talked with a few friends who are contract attorneys and they were able to get me out of my contract (7000). that was about a year later.
I was able to get on with a smaller company though will I got that money situated with CRST. This is what they do. Its money in locking new people up into contracts coming into the industry.
If you cant pay them straight off. Id quit as soon as possible and try to latch on with a small company. One that wont require verifiable schooling because CRST wont release it until they get there money. After you secure employment..... Call them and make payment arrangements. You can make more money safer running solo if you do it right. Otherwise is you dont, youd better go back if you can. But be certain that they coming after that money.G13Tomcat Thanks this. -
gonna be hard getting local work unless you hauling timber or something hardly unregulated
-
YEP... I went through KIRKWOOD when they used them
-
They still send people to there but only when NADTA was full so most people who passed permit on the last day went there while I got it first try

If you aint never worked for CRST when you just beginning...... You will be amazed... Why didnt I like it? Well... I was always the strongest driver and i had two co drivers that got into crashes. Have you ever been down Donners pass and two inexperienced drivers in the truck? One thats VERY shakey? I mean we running from coast to coast for .26 a mile? It wasnt enough to stick it out. I did 6 months and was out. I got on with another company paying .45 a mile right off the bat. Since I was a strong driver, within 3 months they switch me to a regional position (Salaried position) NorthEast only. Leaving CRST was the best thing I could have done. Should have done it sooner

Im still by employed by the company that hired me after CRST. Im coming up on 2 years now.G13Tomcat Thanks this.
